Lamorim-UnitEd operates in French-speaking countries as a joint initiative between UnitEd and Lamorim, an organization which brings together foundations and individual philanthropists to support Jewish education initiatives. Together, we work to strengthen the Jewish identity of approximately more than 23,000 students who study in around 100 Jewish schools in France and other French-speaking countries, including Belgium, Switzerland, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Principals and teachers from five schools in France who are part of the Alliance Network traveled to London last week for an Inspiration-Journey as part of "Ma'or" - a strategic school change process, led by the Israeli Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism and UnitEd. This marks the third Inspiration-Journey of Ma'or, following the first that took place in Israel and the second in Paris.
After a year of intensive training led by Lamorim-UnitEd, in partnership with the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, Herzog College and the Pincus Fund for Jewish Education, seven IPJ trainers in France received their official diplomas on November, 2025. Graduates of the program train teachers in other schools their skills, thus increasing the number of qualified educators in the learned methodology.
The ETGAR Olympics finals took place on June, 2025 in Paris, marking the first time children from France and Israel joined the Etgar Challenge. Etgar is transforming Jewish education by inspiring a love of learning in elementary students through an exciting, team-based quiz competition for 5th graders.
As part of UnitEd's Growth Process program, Alliance Network in France marked on November, 2025 another milestone this week in its journey with "Ma'or" - a tailored adaptation of the Lamorim-UnitEd Growth Process model. Following an inspiring learning journey to Israel on May, 2025, the network's leadership gathered for a two-day offsite session, led by Lamorim-UnitEd advisors, to define core values for the network and each school, and to shape a vision for graduates' Jewish identity.
