Gan Ha’Ivrit

A unique Early Modern Hebrew Immersion Program Designed for Kindergarten Children, addressing the language barrier with a three-year Hebrew curriculum for French preschools
Gan Ha’Ivrit

Identifying the Need

This innovative program developed by Lamorim-UnitEd, targets Jewish preschools across France with an ambitious goal: ensuring all children achieve a consistent Hebrew proficiency level by the end of their three-year preschool experience. Until now, French Jewish preschools faced a significant challenge in achieving Hebrew proficiency: each teacher had to independent decide how to teach Hebrew based on personal preference and knowledge.

Standardization for Early Childhood Hebrew Education

The teaching is based on recognized pedagogical principles: Continuous exposure: the language is present at all times. Active learning: children participate dynamically in their learning process. Connection with children's interests: the content is designed to capture children's attention and curiosity.
Gan Ha'Ivrit represents a transformative step toward standardizing Hebrew education in French Jewish preschools, ensuring every child begins their formal education with a strong Hebrew foundation.
