Following the challenges that emerged in the Jewish world since October 7th, the Be'er Forum - a unique group of 45 Jewish education leaders from around the world - was established as a collaborative initiative between UnitEd, on behalf of the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, the Jewish Agency for Israel, the Pincus Fund for Jewish Education, and the World Zionist Organization, to address evolving issues in formal Jewish education and shape innovative, coordinated responses at the global level. Together, through ongoing meetings and focused working groups, participants explore new educational models and the central role of Jewish schools in shaping community life, creating a framework for collaboration and concrete action plans addressing the unique needs of Jewish educational institutions worldwide.
The Be'er Forum connects leaders, creates strategic partnerships between educational institutions, and establishes a dynamic platform for sharing knowledge, innovative practices, and solutions to the most pressing challenges facing formal Jewish education today. It demonstrates the state of Israel's deep commitment to Jewish education worldwide and the responsibility for the future of the Jewish people.
